Tech Entrepreneur, Elon Musk has revealed his Neuralink startup is close to announcing the first brain-machine interface which connects humans and computers. The Tesla co-founder took to Twitter to tell followers the technology would be “coming soon” – though he failed to provide further details. Neuralink was set up in 2016 with the ambitious goal of developing hardware to enhance the human brain; however, little about how this will work has been made public. According to the startup’s website, it describes the futuristic technology as an “ultra-high bandwidth” connection between the human brain and computers. Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari will dissolve his cabinet on May 22, 2019. This was made known by Mohammed after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting which held on Thursday in Abuja, presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. The minister also revealed that Buhari will on that day chair a valedictory meeting of members of the Council on that day.

The Emir of Kano, Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II has approved the appointment and instalment of a Chinese man, Mr Mike Zhang, as a chief and leader of the growing Chinese community in the northern Nigerian state. This was done in a bid to enhance interaction and business with the Chinese in Kano State. Mr Mike Zhang, a Chinese trader in Kano will be referred to as “Wakilin Yan China” after his turbaning today, April 25 at the Emir’s palace in Kano. He will be responsible for the proper management of the Chinese community and he would act as their representative in the Kano royalty in times of need.

The Kogi State Government has directed the closure of all schools that refused to participate in the 2019 Annual School Census (ASC), the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mrs. Rosemary Osikoya, has said. While speaking with newsmen on Thursday in Lokoja Osikoya said that all schools, both public and private, that intentionally refused to participate in the just-concluded 2019 ASC would be closed down as from April 25. NNU gathered that the 2019 school census started in Kogi on April 15 and was concluded on April 24. Osikoya said that any school that intentionally refused to submit its data as at April 24 would be deemed not to operate within the provisions of the law. ”By Thursday, April 25, we will seal the premises of all schools that refused to participate in the 2019 school census. ”This closure will take immediate effect from today. The surreal incident unfolded in Glasgow in Scotland on Saturday when a passerby spotted the bizarre scene.
