'Spokesperson Of Depravity'- Dogara Fires Shots at Tinubu

Hon. Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the House of Representatives has hit back at APC Chieftain and Jagaban, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, calling him a 'spokesperson of depravity'. The speaker spoke in response to Tinubu's claim that both he and Saraki, the senate president, connived to frustrate President Buhari's tenure by refusing to sign bills and approve budgets sent to them. The speaker in a a statement by his spokesperson said

“We do not expect Asiwaju Tinubu to dwell on brazen mendacity, much less murder facts and decorum in his rabid bid to justify his patently clear facist (sic) agenda of controlling all levers of power in Nigeria.
“Asiwaju Tinubu’s nocturnal agenda has no parallel in the history of any democracy and it is more loathsome when he throws caution to the winds and maligns government officials who are doing a yeoman’s job of stabilising the government of President Muhammadu Buhari, even in spite of political differences,”

Buhari govt donates $.5m for Guinea Bissau elections. The President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government has approved the donation of $500, 000 and over 350 electoral kits and seven vehicles, to facilitate a successful conduct of Guinea Bissau legislative election, slated for November 18, 2018. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, made this known during the weekend when he played host to Special Representative of the UN Secretary General to Guinea Bissau, Jose Filho, in Abuja.
