Juventus 'make £75million bid for Matthijs de Ligt' as they look to fend off fierce interest in Ajax wonderkid

Juventus have lodged a £75million bid for Ajax centre-back Matthijs de Ligt, according to reports in Italy.
The Ajax wonderkid has attracted heavy interest from a host of Europe's top clubs, including Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester United.
And according to Italian publication Tuttosport, the Serie A giants have now swooped in with the big-money offer to try and fend off interest from their European rivals.
De Ligt has become one of the most sought after players in world football this summer following a fine campaign for Ajax.
The 19-year-old Dutchman won the Eredivisie title and progressed to the Champions League semi-finals with the exciting Ajax squad.
Juventus are looking to bolster their squad in the transfer window as they look to claim their first Champions League title since 1996.

The President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government has approved the donation of $500, 000 and over 350 electoral kits and seven vehicles, to facilitate a successful conduct of Guinea Bissau legislative election, slated for November 18, 2018.
